Adorable Hallowe'en Treats (Vegan & Gluten-Free)
Want to be creative for what to bring to a Hallowe'en party? Try making these adorable spider/Halloween themed chocolate moulds! It's so easy to make chocolate from scratch, trust me. Whip a batch and freeze.
Step 1: Purchase adorable Halloween themed silicone moulds! You can go to a dollar store, craft store, or .
Step 2: Make Chocolate!
Stirring and stirring and stirring the brew, ouuuu!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Raw Cacao Powder
1 cup Coconut Oil (organic, virgin, and cold-pressed)
4-5 tbsp. Maple Syrup
1 tbsp. Freshly grated Lemon Zest
-1/2 tsp. Himalayan Salt
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Optional: dash of Cinnamon
Instructions: melt coconut oil in a double broiler method using heat resistant glassware (i.e. Pyrex measuring cups). Stir in the cacao powder first until well incorporated. Then stir in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, lemon zest, Himalayan salt, and cinnamon if using. Et viola!
Step 3: Pour Chocolate into your adorable moulds!
Step 4: Freeze!
Freeze them for 1-2 hours. Go get your Halloween costume on while you wait...
Step 5: Pop your chocolates out of the moulds!
So cute, festive, and pretty darn healthy!
Seriously the easiest recipe you'll ever make. You'll always wonder why you never made your own chocolate before.
Now if you have leftover chocolate like me, you can easily pour them into Halloween festive cupcake liners, top them with pumpkin seeds and freeze them as well!
Freeze these for 1 - 2 hours and they're ready!
Cute!
These melt pretty easily so keep them in the fridge until they're ready to be served.
Have a fun (and healthy) Halloween! I hope you give this recipe a try!
